In a recent update from J.C. Staff studio, the trailer and release date for “DanMachi” (Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?) have been revealed, with the fifth season set to premiere in the fall season of 2024.
Fans are thrilled, especially following the faithful adaptation of the fourth season. This fifth season is highly anticipated and represents one of the studio’s most carefully crafted projects since the series began.
In this brief trailer, we can see that the animation quality relatively the same, consistent with what we’ve come to expect from the series. Although the trailer is short, it offers a glimpse of what was seen in the previous season. The voice cast remains unchanged, featuring the same voice actors we’ve come to know and love.
The direction is once again helmed by Hideki Tachibana, with Fujino Omori, the original author, and Hideki Shirane handling the scriptwriting. Character design is by the beloved Shigeki Kimoto, maintaining the distinctive style that fans appreciate.
It is speculated that this new season will consist of 12 episodes, similar to previous seasons, covering 3-4 volumes of the light novel. The Hestia family is set to embark on a new adventure, which promises to be one of their most challenging yet.
