The Kids Choice Awards of Gaming.
Just one nomination for Bethesda’s Starfield and zero, count ’em. ZERO nominations for Hogwarts Legacy tells you everything you need to know about this years Game Awards ceremony.
Receptive fanfare for award ceremonies such as the Oscars had lost their popularity as younger generations of individuals seemingly couldn’t give less of a fuck towards Hollywood bigshots jerking off their own ego, much akin to how Geoff Keighley utilize the concept of a video game award ceremony as an advertisement powerhouse for developers to announce new and interesting titles alongside following an extremely progressive and inclusive mantra.
Expect Rockstar Games to announce Grand Theft Auto 6 at this years Game Awards by the way, though undoubtedly it’ll be rubbish much akin to how gaming in 2023 has been woeful at the best of times.
I lost interest in the whole award show entirely when Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us Part 2 won the coveted Game of the Year award over the likes of Doom Eternal and Ghost of Tsushima.
The only positive aspect to the whole show are the game announcements and reveals made during the presentation, while the awards themselves are generally shit, rigged shit might I add.
The only memorable moments I have of The Game Awards comes in the form of a real life troll sneaking onto the stage to save us all from a boring, bland event by nominating his “reformed rabbi” Bill Clinton during Elden Ring’s victory for Game of the Year.
It had also won best Game Direction and Narrative, for focusing entirely on pushing a woke and inclusive storyline of Ellie being a lesbian and a muscled hulk of a woman known as Abbie brutally beating Joel to death with a golf club.
I thought the game was mediocre progressive trash as did a fuck load of other people in the gaming community, until I had the reflective thought that maybe the Game Awards aren’t really all that much of a celebration of video games but rather just another commercialized entity where Video Game bigwigs collectively convene at to jerk one another off and show favoritism towards woke agendas.
Geoff Keighley however has announced this years nominations for the Game Awards and they’re a goddamn hoot.
For Game of the Year, what should be the most prestigious and decorated award for a game to receive we have Super Mario Bros. Wonder, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 which we’ve already glossed over how it’s nothing short of ESG personification, Baldur’s Gate 3 with its bear fucking antics and for whatever reason Alan Wake 2 manages to round out the list.
Oh, and Capcom manages to sneak yet another Resident Evil Remake into the fray, with no mention of Bethesda’s Starfield which as undoubtedly incited a fuck load of console loyalists to collectively melt down and or be ridiculed by Sony’s own cultists.
Alan Wake 2 shouldn’t be anywhere near this prestigious award, it’s quite literally a horrible interactive movie with actual gameplay being a scarcity, which isn’t much of a surprise considering how it was currated by Sweet Baby Inc, there’s absolutely no reason why it should even be on this list, the same goes for Resident Evil 4 if we’re being honest outside of the fact there’s a black woman on the cover so maybe that’s the reason why Alan Wake 2 has received 8 nominations this year.
Here’s a fun fact for you, did you know that Saga Anderson in Alan Wake 2 was originally portrayed as being White?
Eight fucking nominations, for Alan Wake 2. Did the folks at Remedy seemingly receive Hogwarts Legacy’s invitation in the mail by accident because there’s absolutely zero mention of that particular title throughout the whole nominations.
So therefore the game has a bad “smell”, it’s problematic and if such a commercialized entity as The Game Awards were to feature a “transphobic” title amongst its Game of the Year candidates well you can simply imagine the sheer media shitshow that would ensue, because those very same crazed feminists would undoubtedly try to cancel the award ceremony as “promoting trans genocide” or some benign bullshit like that.
The Game Awards isn’t about a celebration of gaming, it’s a celebration of ESG.
Simply ignoring the existence of Hogwarts Legacy just confirms that The Game Awards would rather safeguard their political stance and social image over delivering compelling content and enhanced excitement to their audience of whom they claim to serve. Hogwarts Legacy has generated over a billion dollars in revenue, it has sold over 15 Million copies, it’s a game based upon a franchise that is beloved by millions.
Peaking at over 879,000 concurrent players on Steam it rightfully deserves a prominent place in the spotlight, and a nomination for Game of the Year, especially over the likes of Alan Wake 2 and Resident Evil 4 Remake.
At least with Hogwarts Legacy firmly out of the picture we all know exactly which other game will win the coveted crown, and it certainly isn’t going to be Tears of the Kingdom.
Moving onwards to the other nominations, we have best game direction which features the exact fucking same gaggle of games as the GOTY candidates minus Resident Evil 4’s Remake for obvious reasons.
If Zelda doesn’t clinch Game of the Year in favor of Bear Fucker 3 expect them to win this worthless pittance as a participation award.
I am still staggered as to how Alan Wake 2 is getting nominated for literally anything, considering the virtually non-existent sales of the game on the PC given its Epic Game Store limited exclusivity dealings, but as I mentioned above it most likely has to do with the representation of a black lady on the cover art as to why it is getting pushed this hard.
Lies of P finally makes an appearance in the “Best Art Direction” category alongside Hi-Fi Rush, Tears of the Kingdom, Super Mario Bros. Wonder and… Alan Wake 2.
Now this one I can genuinely understand, the first five minutes of Alan Woke 2 players are greeted with a naked fat man walking around as the camera pans up and down their ass crack.
The protagonist every gaming journalist wishes they were.
Continuing onwards we have:
Best Score and Music
- Alan Wake 2, Composer Petri Alanko

Star Wars Jedi Survivor makes its first nomination in the form of Best Performance thanks to the vocal cords of Cameron Monaghan, Alan Wake 2, Spider-Man 2, Cyberpunk 2077 and Final Fantasy XVI were also nominated.
Continues onwards we have:
Innovation in Accessibility
- Diablo IV
- Forza Motorsport
- Hi-Fi Rush
- Marvel’s Spider-Man 2
- Mortal Kombat 1
- Street Fighter 6
I’m shocked beyond words, Goodbye Volcano High got nominated for something. The Sony oriented Visual Novel that spent years in limbo, only to have its narration adjusted by Sweet Baby Inc.
The game launched the same week as Bethesda’s Starfield to a maximum player count of just 291 on Steam and was nominated for having a “thought provoking message”. Or rather this is just a nomination for games that had the most progressive agenda given the likes of its competitors, Venba and Tchia.

Possibly the second or third most prestigious award in my eyes has to go towards Indie games with my own biased fixated on the success of Pizza Tower, by far the most popular with over 37,950 reviews on Steam, followed by Dredge with over 17,700, Viewfinder with just 3,400, Cocoon featuring only 1,600 reviews and Venba with just 600 reviews since it launched at the end of July.
I won’t be quite upset to see Dredge unfairly stealing the victory here, but if Venba wins I also won’t be shocked. All of the aforementioned games are overwhelmingly positive but only one of them features a racially inclusive cover art.
Moving onwards we have Best Mobile Game.
I’m tipping my hat to the Chinese for this one, anything else is a scam.
There haven’t been many mobile games that have launched this year, outside of Honkai Star Rail I wouldn’t be able to tell you much of anything else, Square Enix shockingly launched another Final Fantasy mobile game, expect that to be dropped by next year, and probably for lack of any actual signifigant mobile games launching this year we have Hello Kitty Island Adventure.
Rounding out the nominations we have the following:

It’s quite staggering how a sparce walking simulator (Alan Wake 2) ties with the most amount of nominations as Baldur’s Gate 3, it’s fair to see why while Alan Wake 2 is the ideal game for journalists considering how it plays like a garbage interactive movie, Baldur’s Gate 3 is absolutely awash with woke / progressive undertones inside its story narrative.
Because that’s what the Game Awards are all about, it’s not really a celebration of video gaming throughout the year, it’s a progressive tyrant and commercial entity and to remain commercial you cannot be controversial of course, hence the complete lack of any nominees for Hogwarts Legacy, because that game is “transphobic” while even Bethesda’s critical failure Starfield only has one nomination, for the best RPG, which it’ll most likely lose considering how it’s going up against Baldur’s Gate 3 which has the most potential of sweeping the whole event given its immense popularity with retarded consumers and enjoyers of bear fucking.
This entire year in terms of gaming has been woeful to borderline average at the best of times, majority of the games you see above launched in broken / unplayable states on PC, feature piss poor performance or just outright throw progressive nonsense down your throat such as Spider-Man 2, the only exclusion to the list of garbage has certainly got to be Nintendo because at least their games run “solid” enough on their own native hardware as opposed to the rest of the AAA releases this year.
Geoff Keighley’s Game Awards doesn’t really give much of a shit towards of games are actually good or not, the judges more or less show favoritism towards games that showcase brilliance in ESG compliance, as seen with Alan Wake 2 receiving as many nominations as Baldur’s Gate 3 with each title getting 8 whole nominations while they desperately do everything in their power to avoid the outrage of activists.
Or maybe, just maybe, their whole jury is comprised of activists themselves. Lots of media outlets refused to cover Hogwarts Legacy upon release, with the agenda pushing retards at WIRED giving it a stellar review of 1/10.
Because apparently that game is political but not in the sense that promotes the right message, so unfortunately it has to be scrapped. While the only claim to fame that Alan Wake 2 has besides its garbage PC performance would have to be its racially diverse cover artwork which features a female character that was race swapped to be portrayed as Black.
The Game Awards is nothing but a celebration of ESG, a celebration of everything that is wrong with gaming, a celebration of political nonsense and woke ideologies being pushed into the gaming landscape, journalists eat this shit right up while the consumers, the actual consumers are getting fed up with this bullshit, the outright refusal to acknowledge the existence of Hogwarts Legacy because it’s a “bad optics” title that was incorrectly slandered as being transphobic goes to show that this supposed celebration of gaming is nothing more than a woke circle jerk that protects those that proactively harm the video game industry.
The Game Awards will stream live on Thursday, December 7, 2023, at 4:30 PM PT/7:30 PM ET on various outlets such as YouTube, Twitch and obviously live Twitter updates. Disgruntled game fans will undoubtedly opt to tune in just to witness the abundance of WOKE game announcements an self service of rubbish progressive games as Alan Wake 2 will most likely win at least a handful of awards with Baldur’s Gate 3 more than likely taking the top spot.
