Rocksteady’s Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is set to become one of the most monumental gaming failures not only of 2024 but of the past decade.
After nine years of development, the live service title has emerged as a woke mess, riddled with progressive themes such as the de-feminization of iconic characters like Harley Quinn. It also disappoints with a significant drop in both story quality and graphics compared to previous Arkham installments.
All the warning signs were evident with Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, especially considering its collaboration with the ESG consultation firm Sweet Baby Inc.
The game is saturated with progressive writing, themes, and values, evident in choices such as portraying Poison Ivy as a child and depicting Harley Quinn in a manner deemed unattractive by modern standards. Wonder Woman is given a heroic death, while Batman meets his demise on a park bench.
In Suicide Squad, Green Lantern is depicted poorly while Wonder Woman is portrayed beautifully. This game clearly carries a feminist agenda, despite retards dismissing the red flags. It’s evident that this game is driven by ideology.
Additionally, it’s implied that he Flash’s corpse is urinated on, and for unknown reasons, King Shark dons the Green Lantern ring.
To put it simply, none of this aligns with the established canon or makes any goddamn fucking sense. It’s clear that to these developers, the source material holds no relevance. The question isn’t whether they care about it, rather, it’s whether they harbor a disdain for the source material itself.
And unsurprisingly, the answer is always yes.
The way these individuals write male characters in stories they appropriate to vandalize reflects their own insecurities, rendering them permanently inferior to genuine men.
The game’s writing is subpar, inundated with progressive buzzwords that detract from the legacy of previous Arkham installments. Moreover, being a live service game, you’re not only required to pay for this dogshit, but you’re also trapped in an endless cycle, with the hope that you’ll continuously invest in continued DLCs and cosmetic microtransactions.
Fortunately, very few people fell for this woke scam. The game launched on February 2nd for Xbox Series consoles, PS5, and PC, but it’s been a catastrophic failure on PC.
It peaked at only 13,459 players on launch day, and within a few weeks, it became evident that the game is duller than Destiny.
I anticipate that its online services will be terminated by the end of the year, as it now currently struggles to maintain just over 1,000 concurrent players which is lower than Batman: Arkham Knight which released back in 2015.
It’s expected that the daily peak concurrent players will soon drop below 1,000, as the latest update is considered game-breaking by the few remaining players. Although a new patch has been released, it seems to have made the game even more unstable rather than fixing bugs and issues.
Among the issues plaguing the game are a malfunctioning matchmaking function and the virtually disabled cross-play feature between platforms, severely hindering the ability to find matches.
The game’s Reddit is flooded with threads where players share their difficulties with the patch, which has only made the game harder to play. In one thread, a user lamented that they won’t continue playing until a new patch is released. “Two of my achievements are broken, and I’ve been experiencing more and more loading issues with each patch,” they shared.
Another user commented, “Load times have significantly increased for me, especially on console. It now takes me five minutes just to get into the game.”
Others are reporting that they are unable to load in after completing endgame incursions, leading to lost progress, though it’s not as if losing progress means anything in the long run as once the online services are terminated the progress of every single player will be destroyed forever.
A bug report thread on the game’s website is gaining traction, with many agreeing that they are unable to leave the end screen for missions, as Metropolis fails to load. “Since this patch, I can’t play incursions without encountering this issue afterward. I hope they fix it soon,” one player stated. Additionally, some players are unable to progress through the endgame tiers, effectively halting their progression.
This is just adding insult to injury for a game that already had a troubled launch, thanks to woke propagandists masquerading as game developers. The game is a complete failure, and now, thanks to a botched seasonal patch update, it’s hurtling towards the garbage bin at an unprecedented pace.
I certainly hope the financial losses from this game spell the end for Rocksteady Studio.
