Rules for thee but not for me.
Remember the controversy involving Sweet Baby Inc, where one of their employees instigated a cancel campaign against an individual who created a Steam curation group? This group used publicly available information to compile a list of games developed in collaboration with the infamous DEI / ESG pushers.
This incident reignited Gamergate-like tensions, leading to numerous journalistic outlets publishing coordinated articles attempting to downplay Sweet Baby Inc’s political influence in game development, while maliciously excluding the fact that a Sweet Baby Inc employee by the name of Chris Kindred incited a cancel campaign against a Steam curation group which caused widespread social media outrage in the first place.
Among these articles was one by Kotaku, written by Alyssa Mercante, a former prostitute who bent over for Sweet Baby Inc, omitting vital information and clarifying that you cannot be racist against White people.
Alyssa Mercante is also the same slut who belittled gamers and “gamer culture” over sexism allegations made against Stellar Blade, while praising the sexualization in Hades 2 as that game caters to queer audiences.
Since then, not much has happened, but there have been new developments. Alyssa Mercante has created her own list, featuring numerous YouTubers who have made videos about her.
Considering that a Sweet Baby Inc employee labeled the creation of a list of games made in collaboration with Sweet Baby Inc as harassment, one can only assume that Alyssa has some very earnest and genuine reasons behind creating a list of her own.
It’s quite ironic how a second wave of Gamergate has emerged, highlighting the bias and collusion between so-called “professional journalists” with the progressive activists who have weaseled their way into the gaming industry after completing their Unreal Engine courses on Udemy.
This controversy stemmed from the creation of a list, a compilation of games made in collaboration with Sweet Baby Inc, which was labeled as targeted harassment. Journalists have conveniently omitted this fact, portraying Sweet Baby Inc as the victim of a racist conspiracy.
Why would Alyssa be creating her own list, featuring countless YouTubers who have made videos specifically about her and her controversial actions? Could it be to incite and encourage harassment, similar to the claims made by Chris Kindred? It’s truly sad how blind they are to their own hypocrisy.
The reason behind the list has become clearer with the involvement of one of Alyssa’s supporters, Nick Calanda. Calanda, the co-founder and Editor-in-Chief of “Second Wind,” an emerging journalistic outlet established after the collapse of The Escapist, appears to be a key figure in this effort.
There’s an individual who covers many of these topics, including the latest actions of Alyssa Mercante and developers like Ubisoft altering history for the sake of DE&I. Smash JT not only writes articles but also frequently reports on these subjects through his YouTube channel, providing a digital format for his audience.
Smash JT made a strategic move by creating his own list, featuring various journalists in the industry who frequently berate consumers as racist, sexist, or phobic. This list included individuals like Alyssa Mercante, known for her anti-White prejudices, and Nick Calanda.
His “Kotaku Detected” list served as a comprehensive directory of individuals who have previously worked for or are currently employed at Kotaku, one of the most notorious games journalism publications, known for its disdain towards the video game industry and gamers.
Smash JT created the “Kotaku Detected” list after Alyssa Mercante crossed a line by directly messaging his wife on social media. This tactic, unfortunately common among those who despise dissenting views, involved threatening to sue and then making her own list featuring Smash JT.
Alyssa’s actions exemplify the risks faced by public figures with recognizable names or faces.
Nick Calandra entered the fray by encouraging individuals on Twitter to report Smash JT’s website to Wix. Using his locked/protected account, he organized his followers to target Smash JT’s site simply because it featured a comprehensive list of publicly available information, including details about himself.
It’s important to note that Nick Calandra was the same individual who incited his followers on Discord to release the personal information of Grummz, aka Mark Kern.
Kern, a once esteemed developer for one of the industry’s largest entities, became infamous for criticizing the modern gaming industry’s collapse, exposing corporations’ ESG agendas, and calling out journalists for their Marxist leanings.
As a result, Mark’s home address and family details were leaked, making him another victim of his own success.
Activists like Nick Calandra and Alyssa Mercante are intent on ruining livelihoods, turning their activism and pandering into a means of undermining the gaming industry from within. Because we disagree with their progressive views, such as the belief that all female characters should be androgynous, ugly, and bald like Alyssa, they will go to great lengths to destroy our lives.
This includes doxxing and harassing those close to us, such as family members. Their tactics reveal a willingness to do whatever it takes to silence opposition and enforce their ideology.
After Nick’s call to report Smash JT’s website for harassment to Wix, it has been taken offline. Nick proclaimed that disrupting revenue streams is necessary to counter those who share publicly available information, aiming to expose progressive pieces of shit such as Nick Calandra.
However, this tactic seems misguided, considering Smash JT likely earns more from YouTube AdSense than from his website. But then again, it’s not surprising coming from someone like Nick, whose expertise seems limited to praising homosexuality in video gaming, given his background.
If you try to visit Smash JT’s website today at smashjt.com, you’ll encounter a default Wix page stating that the domain hasn’t been connected to Wix’s DNS. This essentially means that the website is no longer accessible and has been taken down by Wix themselves, certainly in response to the report campaign initiated by Nick.
Alyssa Mercante took the opportunity to gloat about the temporary takedown of Smash JT’s website, sharing a tweet featuring his defunct homepage with the caption “Website Not Detected.”
She followed up by suggesting that the temporary demise of Smash JT’s website is a “positive sign,” indicating that there are individuals on social media who recognize and condemn what she perceives as “targeted harassment” and “cyberbullying.”
Another journalist, the pork-ish Jessica Cogswell from GameSpot, responded to Alyssa, expressing pride in seeing the guardians of journalistic integrity impede a man attempting to expose their subversive agenda.
Smash JT announced that his website was disabled by Wix due to “privacy violations,” which is ironic given that the “Kotaku Detected” list contained only publicly available information about the journalists in question.
Wix, a commercial CMS platform designed for easy website creation with drag-and-drop templates, allows users to build websites with almost no coding knowledge.
However, a harassment campaign can target an individual through the CMS provider itself, such as Wix, especially since Wix often hosts the domains they support. This is likely why the site was disabled. Such campaigns can also target your server host directly, claiming your website violates various laws, which could lead to similar outcomes even if your website is hosted independently.
Smash JT has responded to Wix, requesting that his site be reinstated, but the outcome remains uncertain. Despite the site’s termination being based on false pretenses, platforms like Wix tend to fold under immense pressure from enraged activists and falsified DMCA claims, much like Discord.
While there is hope for the website’s reinstatement, it seems likely that Smash JT will need to relocate his site to another platform, potentially facing the same issue again in the future. The actions of Nick and Alyssa are merely egregious targeting of those who dare to oppose their ideals.
It’s only considered harassment when lists featuring public information are created to inform the general public about what Nick and Alyssa support. However, it’s deemed acceptable for Alyssa to create her own list of YouTubers who have made videos about her, facilitating coordinated attacks against these content creators.
Yet, a list of journalists whose real names are publicly available on their own outlets and social media is apparently crossing the line.
It’s sheer bullshit , and they know it. That’s why I encourage you to remain anonymous on social media, never show your face, never reveal your likeness. Always hide behind a persona.
Never trust a journalist, and don’t even trust me. There’s always a hidden agenda with these people. The least you can do is protect yourself and your identity while you still can, calling out these hypocrites and generally fuck with them until they block you.
I give it less than a week before Smash JT relaunches his website on another CMS, now more motivated than ever to expose these parasites and with more attention on his website than ever before.
