Card-en-Ciel presents a thrilling deck-building roguelike card battle RPG experience set in a fictional gaming universe. The protagonist is “Neon,” the gaming chair detective tackling various online dilemmas.
A mysterious turn of events unfolds as characters from another game manifest consciousness in a full-dive VR project. Ancie, the game company staffer, enlists Neon to probe the cyber world’s anomalies.
You’ll be able to venture through over 10 dungeon-like game realms, where you’ll clash with the protagonists and heroines of each “game” and make them allies.
Recruit these characters as cards, constructing decks for card battles. Featuring over 300 cards with voiced lines, expect not only fictional game personas but also familiar faces from Inti Creates’ other games are said to make an appearance.
Through the Link Etude system, players can engage in various interactions such as offering support during battles, responding to statements made by other characters, and even initiating conflicts, fostering a dynamic and interconnected conversational experience.
Every card in the game serves three purposes: movement, special moves, and the standard card effect. Deciding which mode to use for each card according to the battle circumstances is essential, introducing a strategic element to the combat. Furthermore, when specific conditions are met, the Diva characters, special cards in the game, initiate live performances during battles.
They bolster players with their potent and unique effects while enriching the battle atmosphere with their songs. Each song performed is chosen from those sung by the respective character in their original game, with a selection of over 50 songs available.
Additionally, during the “Inti Creates Information Bureau Episode 2” program airing on YouTube more details about this game will also be shared, once more, the game will be accessible on PC through Steam, Nintendo Switch, Sony PlayStation 4/5, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One platforms on October 24th.
