Abuse of “controlled substances”, organizing unauthorized fan “meetups” and receiving “gifts” and having sexual relations with a manager.
I’m not one for watching vtubers because I wouldn’t consider myself that deprived of dopamine to the point where the only enjoyment I can generate revolves around prissy Live 2D female streamers but clearly I have been missing out on something amazing in the form of Idol Corp’s Project Star: Riro Ron.
Idol Corp has officially severed ties with Project Star Vtuber “Riro Ron” alongside a member of its idol management team, citing the termination as a response to “dangerous and harmful” breaches of their contract.
As mentioned above among the various reasons for Riro Ron’s dismissal comes in the form of a “rap sheet”, featuring the misusage of “controlled substances” which is more or less a loose term to describe anything from prescription drugs such as Valium or Xanax, it can even be described as “herbal” substances such as whacky tobacky.
During live streams no less.
So, the abuse of illicit substances, Riro Ron also orchestrated fan meetups behind the backs of Idol Corp themselves, which may pay homage to her so called “harem” as she apparently solicited these unorganized fan meetups with some of her more prominent and loyal followers, it was during these meetups where Riro Ron had received various gifts in the form of money or other.
Though given the third and final infraction it’s very well likely that she could have simply pimped herself out for thousands of dollars, given how she apparently had a sexual relationship with her manager.
Clearly I’ve been transported back to the 70’s, a time where music wasn’t dogshit and that prominent figures of bands were off doing drugs and banging groupies, much akin to what Riro Ron has been doing behind the backs of Idol Corp executives.
This entire ordeal is quite frankly “Needy Streamer Overload” becoming reality.
Riro Ron made her debut in February of this year, building upon the success of Idol Corp EN, which premiered late last year because of course if something financially successful spawns out of Asia rest assured that westerners and other regions will profit from the idea. Such as the case with the Israeli Idol Corp agency.
With her unique persona as a “mesugaki” loli character, Riro rapidly rose to become one of the company’s most beloved idols but obviously she demanded more.
Riro Ron marks the fourth dismissal from Idol Corp, either through termination or “graduation” by other means, with Emi Suika graduating in October 2022, Neo Sparkles graduating in December 2022 and Lily Sin graduating in February 2023.
Idol Corp proclaim that the Riro Ron YouTube channel will be foreclosed on January 1st, with the Riro Ron Twitter account already becoming protected, fans can apparently request refunds on merchandise purchased of the vtuber but in all honesty why would you even bother with taking this approach, maybe when it comes to KPop “stans” when their beloved Korean boytoy is found to have been guilty of watching “problematic” anime such as Made in Abyss and or Berserk.
The individual behind Riro Ron, otherwise known as “kyOresu” has already broken her silence on the matter by simply doubling down on the accusations with a series of tweets.
Proclaiming to have been shocked by Idol Corp’s dismissal notice, before clarifying that they had signed a non disclosure agreement and cannot elaborate further, kyOresu / Riro Ron has nothing to apologize for which would insinuate that this could simply be an issue with Idol Corp themselves instead of a case of sex, drugs and rock and roll which got my hopes up for something exciting in the vtuber space.
Hilariously enough kyOresu went even further by posting a meme image with the caption of shooting heroine and having sexual intercourse with her managers and a fan, before prompting proclaiming “I didn’t” which is more of a reference in regards to the shooting heroine rather than her promiscuous antics.
Obviously, she has quite a decent following of “SIMPS” who are defending her actions, awaiting to see where her future leads as she proclaims to be “coming back” soon, clearly her male audience has zero standards or any sort of masculine rigidity considering the fact that their preferred streamer just so happens to be a scandalous whore.
Nevertheless I cannot recall a time where vtubers and vtubing as a whole has ever been more exciting, if this sort of shit was commonplace perhaps it would be a wise decision to start actually watching some live streams.
