The hacktivist group known as “SiegedSec” have made the declaration of having stolen thousands of files from NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) systems.
SiegedSec, which has a history of targeting various municipalities with its hacks over the past year, shared on its Telegram channel six screenshots as evidence of accessing certain NATO web pages.
This latest breach if genuine would mark the group’s second intrusion into NATO systems since July. During its prior breach, SiegedSec managed to retrieve approximately 700 unclassified files from the NATO Community of Interest Cooperation Portal, as reported by Cyberscoop.
SiegedSec seemingly spawned out of nowhere in April of 2022 where the group began posting various data on their Telegram from numerous attacks on American state websites in Kentucky and Arkansas, their reasoning behind their attacks was simple, due to those particular states and their rejection of abortion rights.
SiegedSec have specifically targeted multiple satellite receivers and industrial control systems in states that pushed through legislation on banning gender affirming rights, so their motive is to allow the indoctrination of sexual identity towards young and impressionable children.
Their attacks on NATO are allegedly due to their “attacks on human rights” by also failing to intervene in the war in Ukraine.
SiegedSec are self-described as being a group of “gay furry hackers” which is more believable than you’d otherwise think considering the fairly high rate of Autism found within the furry community, with roughly 12-15% of “furries” surveyed being diagnosed as being on the autism spectrum versus around 2% of the general population.
And as much as half of those in the furry community fall under the category of being homosexual or “bisexual” which might have something to do with the fact that the furry community harbors quite a large amount of sexual deviants towards animals and children.
This attack however is more severe than the previous, with 9GB of data or over 3000 files being stolen by the gay furry hacktivists. They claim that they’ve successfully accessed six NATO web portals including the Joint Advanced Distributed Learning e-learning website, the NATO Lessons Learned Portal (where they allegedly obtained 331 documents), the Logistics Network Portal (where they acquired 588 documents and other files), the Communities of Interest Cooperation Portal, the NATO Investment Division Portal (where they obtained 207 documents), and the NATO Standardization Office (where they accessed 2,116 documents).
NATO has confirmed that it is currently looking into an alleged breach, which according to them is a “minor incident” involving unclassified documents, proclaiming that there has been no impact on NATO missions, operations or military deployments as a result of them being breached by SiegedSec.
Though I cannot help but wonder if it would be considered “bad optics” for bureaus to investigate the incident in an attempt to track down and arrest these illusive homosexual code warriors, because this is the modern era and it’s absolutely frowned upon to ever criticize or be vocal against minority ethnic or sexuality groups.
Would NATO be liable for homophobia for seeking vengeance against SiegedSec? I for one would argue that personally, because it’s illegal to scrutinize homosexual individuals across numerous countries, majority of the nations where homophobia is punishable by arrest are in fact NATO members.
It’s the perfect crime.
