Bryant Francis, a journalist contributing to Game Developer, leveraged the publication’s platform to urge Valve, the creator of Steam, to deactivate the Sweet Baby Inc. Detected curator.
We’ve mentioned extensively quite a few weeks ago how a Sweet Baby Inc employee by the name of Chris Kindred launched a harassment campaign against the individual responsible for the Steam group’s creation, by inciting their Twitter followers (18,000+) to report not only the Steam group but also the Twitter account and Steam account of the person in question.
Blatantly proclaiming to report their Steam account because “he clearly values his games” in what can only be perceived as a direct attack laid out against an individual who is actually Latin American.
Despite advocating for “inclusivity” in gaming, Kindred initiates a harassment campaign against a lone Brazilian, seeking to remove their games solely for curating a list that encompasses all repulsive games produced by Sweet Baby Inc.
This was merely the catalyst of far greater things, upon discovery that an actual employee of the consultancy firm responsible for turning the modern video game into uncreative DEI / ESG shovel ware was directly targeting an individual who merely pointed out the games made in collaboration with Sweet Baby Inc.
The Streisand Effect took hold as his Steam curator group swiftly became one of the most rapidly expanding ones across the entire platform, now amassing over 260,000 members within a span of two weeks.
Following the entire ordeal and the widespread backlash against Sweet Baby Inc’s damaging PR, media journalists evidently joined forces to push a specific agenda. Just as they’ve done ten years prior. Primarily aimed at protecting Sweet Baby Inc. They began producing various articles that obscured the truth, including the harassment campaign launched by Chris Kindred.
My favorite example comes from Kotaku with a fluff piece written by Alyssa Mercante who supposedly “invaded” a public Discord group, tried to interview people and wondered why people aren’t using their real names and photographs attached to their Discord account.
Oh yeah, and the author herself mentioned something about how you “cannot be racist against White people.”
This merely just added fuel to the fire to what’s quickly becoming a second Gamergate, with media outlets en mass supporting a no-name narrative consultancy firm that at a simple observation has no direct links to these gaming journalists or has any impact towards their livelihood, and yet they’re all banding together simultaneously to gaslight and invoke a particular narrative.
They label anyone who disagrees with the notion that Sweet Baby Inc employs “intimidation tactics” to promote ESG-friendly diversity and inclusivity narratives as conspiracy theorists, racists and or bigots.
Much akin to how they all gaslit Gamergate as being orchestrated by sexist gamers when it was originally about ethics in journalism.
I truly wish these disgusting bastards would skip straight to the “it’s happening but here’s why it’s a good thing” phase. I have zero tolerance for these covert parasites who are once again revealing their own corruption.
With all the deceptive Sweet Baby coverage and PR, they’re essentially unmasking themselves, proving they’re all collaborating to worsen gaming by demonizing its core audience.
Bryant Francis and Game Developer are now seeking to discredit KabrutusRambo and his Steam curator group with an article titled “Why are Valve and Discord allowing harassment against Sweet Baby Inc.?”
This headline appears utterly ludicrous, considering it was Sweet Baby Inc. who initiated the harassment campaign against KabrutusRambo and the Steam Curator list, but of course you’re not going to find any credibility amongst these vermin.
Francis and others of his ilk are likely to argue that any critique of Sweet Baby Inc. constitutes “harassment,” suggesting that opposing a hostile takeover that imposes bland and uninspired diverse character designs, authored by talentless hacks who are openly racist against White people, automatically brands one as a racist or worse.
This is just how Marxists operate, they fabricate, lie and gaslight. If you express opposition to Sweet Baby Inc, you’re evidently labeled as someone who hates Black people, despises Latinos, or rejects the notion of being subjected to man-hating lesbian protagonists. Well, for the record, I do detest that last one.
Despite the fact that Sweet Baby Inc contributed to Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, a game featuring woke inclusive Spanish localization that bastardizes the language to be gender neutral, offending Hispanics is far from the games only problems.
The entire article seems to rely on unsubstantiated allegations from Sweet Baby Inc. CEO Kim Belair, claiming her company is facing harassment. Francis stated:
As per usual, Sweet Baby Inc is the victim of a massive harassment campaign because they’re in tears, those evil bigoted gamers who’ve had enough of obvious woke trash arrogantly forced down their throat are the problem. The harassment grew stronger upon the creation of the “Sweet Baby Inc Detected” Steam curation group which allowed people to spread their “conspiracy theories”.
Despite of course if it wasn’t for a lone Brazilian mainstream media outlets wouldn’t be defending this tiny company with ~20 employees, a company that exists entirely to push specific agenda in gaming.
Once again, Bryant’s article is just one of many that hilariously fails to mention that it was Sweet Baby Inc who were the actual harassers, or for that matter failing to mention the heinous and racist tweets made by Sweet Baby Inc employees.
But apparently an organized list that simply informs consumers that a particular game was made in collaboration with a nefarious company and that you may want to avoid them is “targeted harassment”, but for people to boycott companies such as Electronic Arts and or Activision, that’s fine.
It’s only a problem if that particular company happens to be Sweet Baby Inc because they are fixated on race.
Their consultancy doesn’t aim to promote inclusivity; instead, it hampers creativity by essentially forbidding developers from creating what they actually want to create.
Sweet Baby Inc fail to create original Black characters and rely upon obvious race-swapping and dismantling existing ones, as evidenced by several SBI-backed properties such as Alan Wake 2.
Later in his article, Francis more or less indicated that this entire piece appeared to be crafted at the request of Sweet Baby Inc. with the intention of canceling the Steam curator list and its associated Discord channel.
He stated:
“Belair admitted she isn’t entirely sure how Valve or Discord should remedy the situation. She and her colleagues at Sweet Baby Inc aren’t experts in online moderation, they’re writers. Their job is to create fictional problems in video games, not solve real ones.”
“She urged Valve and Discord to recognize that harassment campaigns are continuously evolving, and that communications platforms need to keep pace with how they’re being used to spread hate,”
Similar to how certain individuals on Twitter impulsively screech “Epstein” when encountering a fictional female character under 5’4″, I’m skeptical that the founder of Sweet Baby Inc can distinguish between fiction and reality. It’s apparent that her woke, anti-White intimidation tactics have led to real-life issues, widening the gap between developer and consumer.
Kim Belair, CEO of Sweet Baby Inc proclaimed that some kind of “evolution” is needed, because the backlash against her narrative will only get bigger. She further added in Game Developer’s article:
“If this playbook can work as well now as it did 10 years ago [with Gamergate], it’s going to keep working in certain ways, and they will find something bigger and worse to do than this.”
Francis later revealed the true objective of the article was merely to advocate for the shutdown and removal of the Sweet Baby Inc Detected Steam curation group and its associated Discord server.
By proclaiming that bad actors have somehow gained the system by exploiting the system, a bunch of judgmental gamers are harassing a small studio for absolutely “no reason”, and the poor helpless individuals at Sweet Baby Inc have little say in the matter.
Which is exactly why there’s an on-going media cabal defending this “small studio” and slandering gamers as being vile hateful beings, because Sweet Baby Inc has little say in the matter, they’re the real victims here, not the various game studios that have gone under following their woke ESG consultations or the gamers that have been subjected to abhorrent dogshit products for years.
Bryant Francis also asserted that he contacted Valve and Discord to inquire why both platforms are prominently hosting groups of individuals who aim to inform and caution consumers against games with apparent agendas, particularly those associated with Sweet Baby Inc.
However, it’s worth noting that Kim Belair and many developers associated with her company are notable figures within Game Developer. They often participate in the publication’s annual conference event for video game developers and industry professionals, which has been known to serve as a platform for promoting anti-establishment propaganda.
Journalists are incapable of change, the only salvation will come when they inevitably lose their jobs, they refuse to acknowledge the vital piece of information that started the whole ordeal.
A Sweet Baby Inc employee named Chris Kindred spearheaded a harassment campaign against an individual solely for creating a Steam curation group that simply lists games crediting Sweet Baby Inc for any specific reason.
They are incapable of change, just as they’ll continue to overlook the fact that Maya Kramer, also known as “legobutts,” openly discriminated against White people on Twitter and posted a tweet advocating for “aborting all Jews.”
It’s likely because Maya Kramer was associated with Zoe Quinn, the aspiring game developer, by aiding her in the illegal DDoS attack against The Fine Young Capitalists.
The extensive array of journalists coordinating their assault on gamers while praising Sweet Baby Inc might seem overwhelming, but in truth, their strategies are as empty as the trust these individuals hold in the public’s perception.
These individuals earn their living by shilling and producing articles designed to provoke anger and generate clicks. However, their income is nowhere near what it was a decade ago, as consumer trust in these journalists has reached an all-time low. Coupled with global economic challenges, these individuals face zero job security moving forward.
As the industry crumbles around them, they’ll find no alternative platforms to spread their misinformation. To win the war this time, we must learn from our past mistakes during Gamergate and stay vigilant.
Don’t give them an inch, avoid their websites, archive their articles instead, and deny ad revenue from their rage-inducing content. Continuously remind them that their industry is collapsing, and their job security is nonexistent. Boycott them and laugh at them whilst doing so.
