How would you feel if Discord, essentially the world’s most popular “gaming” social application issued you a formal warning for being “involved” with an alleged problematic server that they’ve removed on the false pretenses of child exploitation.
Thousands of individuals awoke to such a warning today after Discord’s woefully hypocritical moderation team decided to purge the official server of the Little Witch Nobeta video game.
Discord has always had an issue when it came to fictious depictions of small characters, mainly “anime” / “manga” artwork, regardless of whether or not the artwork itself is technically described as being a “loli” type character isn’t relevant to the Discord moderation team who much akin to Valve and their Steam Store arbitrarily impose sporadically as to what’s deemed child exploitive material when it comes to fictional drawings and artwork.
Despite the fact that Discord is notorious for being used by genuine pedophiles preying upon children, or groomers indoctrinating youths whether it be to radicalize them into supportive ideologies.
Be they alleged far-right extremists or transgender individuals trying to quote-on-quote “hatch” some “eggs”.
The term “hatching an egg” when it comes to transgender individuals references their ability to “convince” or rather indoctrinate youths, otherwise known as the “hatchling” into a path of supposed self discovery of identity, basically they are grooming children into believing that they are also trans themselves.
Discord has a serious problem when it comes to actual grooming, actual pedophilia while they continually target nonsensical fictional bullshit by slandering anime oriented servers as being pedophilic by nature, which only benefits actual predators.
Because Discord, even from the earliest days back in 2019 was notorious for being staffed mainly by “furries” or rather people who are sexually aroused by (mostly) fictious depictions of artwork containing animals.
“Anthropomorphic” animals or rather humanoid renditions, majority of this furry community falls under the autism spectrum, a large percentage of them consider themselves to be LGBT as well, for the longest time now Discord has had a relentless rage regarding anime and loli artwork, citing it to be pedophilia while of course the Discord moderators who just so happen to be furries fully condone and support the notion of “cub” artwork, which is more or less depictions of fictious BABY animals, because that’s totally fucking normal and absolutely sane.
So in essence the Discord moderation staff, the supposed harbingers of morality and law and order essentially larp about anime and lolicon artwork being deemed pedophilic while they simultaneously get off to the furry rendition of that very same “child porn” trope. Just something to think about the next time you open up their lovely application.
Regardless, the Little Witch Nobeta Discord server was purged just over a day ago, dubbed the “OUHlocaust” the specific reasoning behind its removal remaining unclear. However, with a bit of rational reasoning, one can connect the dots by observing the somewhat questionable and risqué artwork featured on the official Twitter account of the Little Witch Nobeta team, particularly in the form of their fanbox artwork.
While the game itself is clean and not sexualized in the slightest, you can probably guess what sort of content may have been featured on the official server itself outside of announcements and updates made about the game itself.
Lots and lots of softcore porn or just pornographic material in and of itself.
No real surprises there, the Discord server was nuked due to the postings of fictional artwork deemed problematic by the Discord moderation team, who just so happen to be heavily invested into the “furry” community, prominent supporters of “cub” art and are nonsensical leftwing radicals who get high off the power trip of authority.
The most likely and most obvious scenario would be that a singular individual or a multitude of malicious actors essentially invaded the server and launched a barrage of reports of postings and the like as they’re known to do so, especially how the developers themselves focus entirely on pandering to their core audience through softcore pornography you’d be shocked to discover that there would be content on the server itself that’s allegedly against Discord’s terms of service.
The server was removed with every single member of the server getting a formal warning / notification on Discord for their “involvement” with the Little Witch Nobeta server, Discord is also notorious for outright banning multiple accounts for their connections to other individuals or just so happen to be a member of servers that post similar material or just so happen to be “Nazis”.
But in reality, who’s to say that these pathetic bastards won’t instead target other games with their official communities, gacha games are the only harbors of femininity targeting male audiences left in the games industry, what’s stopping people from maliciously reporting communities such as Azur Lane and Blue Archive for “child exploitation” considering how Discord’s moderation team sees any problematic anime artwork as “literally child porn”.
But I for one hold hope that Nobeta’s developers maintain the status quo simply for the sake of telling these censorship puritans to bugger off, their devious softcore posting nature is basically what lead to them garnering as many fans as they have now on social media, their careless nature is commendable to say the least.
Where Little Witch Nobeta goes from here in terms of organizing its community is uncertain, likely they’d just forget this ever happened and just orchestrate another server albeit this time around perhaps more strenuous censorship measures would be in order, which would undoubtedly mean that the pansy bastards who reported the previous server undoubtedly would’ve won out in the end which is a horrible thought.
