Regardless of your opinion, it’s undeniable that Elon Musk, the owner of Twitter, is not only one of the world’s most successful con artists but is among the most influential figures globally, second only to Donald Trump.
Whatever the man says will be heard by hundreds of thousands, if not millions. Elon Musk has recently stirred up a lot of buzz regarding his fake “free speech” advocacy on the Twitter platform, so long as what you’re saying is within the “laws of each country.“
Now, he has entered the fray concerning Sweet Baby Inc, the DEI consultancy firm hailed as a “darling” by major journalistic platforms, even the United States government, and the Anti-Defamation League.
They all seek to shield this small corporation, inhabited by openly racist individuals, who strive to eradicate “White privilege” in video games under the guise of advocating for “representation” and “inclusivity,” despite diluting storytelling and forcefully injecting identity politics into games.
Across the board, all these organizations are rallying in defense of Sweet Baby Inc en masse, glossing over the reality of what truly instigated the alleged “harassment campaign” aimed at the small Canadian outfit.
Which actually stems from one of their employees, Chris Kindred, initiating a legitimate harassment campaign against a Steam curation group. This group simply listed the numerous games that had consulted with Sweet Baby Inc during their development.
Previously, Sweet Baby Inc had only come under scrutiny from dedicated gamers who started to recognize a pattern: games developed in collaboration with Sweet Baby Inc often experienced significant failures upon release, as seen with Volition’s Saints Row Reboot and Square Enix’s Forspoken and Rocksteady’s Suicide Squad.
In other instances, major-budget titles exhibited a noticeable narrative decline compared to their predecessors. For example, Insomniac Games’ release of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 featured significant changes in Diversity and Inclusivity.
Peter Parker, a White man, was depicted as inept whereas Mary Jane’s character design underwent radical alterations, resulting in an disgusting aged-up appearance. The game’s woke Spanish localization featured genderless “Latinx” dialogue and erroneously depicted the Cuban flag as the Puerto Rican flag, misrepresenting the protagonist’s ethnicity.
Furthermore, the game included numerous LGBT / BIPOC missions, and Black Cat’s character was altered to be a Lesbian.
On a different note, God of War Ragnarok, another title developed with the consultancy of Sweet Baby Inc, faced criticism for being a narrative step-down compared to the 2018 release of God of War. This disparity marks a departure from the original trilogy, to the extent that the series creator, David Jaffe, believes the modern interpretations of the franchise have irreversibly damaged Kratos as a character.
Sony fanboys predictably brushed aside David’s statement, because of course, what would the franchise creator possibly know about Kratos as a character? In the original God of War series, Kratos frequently received assistance from Athena. However, in the modern iterations like he’s portrayed differently, taking on a fatherly role and babysitting his son while battling mundane jungle creatures and relying on his wife’s axe.
It all started with a few people noticing that games developed in association with Sweet Baby Inc simply weren’t very good at all. Then it completely spiraled when Chris Kindred sought to have a Steam curator removed for publicly listing games that have Sweet Baby Inc credited, so that you can identify and avoid purchasing games that have garbage narratives.
Then the journalists started coming out of their disease infested holes, omitting facts and slandering gamers as being racists, misogynists or conspiracy theorists to imply that such an innocent little corporation as Sweet Baby Inc have infiltrated the gaming landscape and enforce an agenda upon the products they curate.
When it was revealed that a Sweet Baby Employee initiated a harassment campaign against an individual, who was later revealed to be Latin American, the Streisand effect took hold. This propelled their group from a mere 7,000 followers to over 302,000 at the time of writing.
If curious gamers weren’t aware of Sweet Baby Inc before, they certainly are now. The company’s involvement in some of the worst games released in modern times has stirred up a hornet’s nest of enthusiasts, who have begun delving into the history of their employees.
Former employees of Sweet Baby Inc, like Dani Lalonders, were involved in creating a dating simulator called “Validate,” which featured an array of poorly designed characters reminiscent of brown Tumblr aesthetics, with only one White character included.
Despite the game peaking at 80 concurrent players on Steam, its developers were deeply offended when the majority of the player base chose to play as the only White character, who happened to be one of the few characters not portrayed as overtly ugly and overweight.
In the video game industry, the phenomenon of failing upwards is indeed a reality. Dani Lalonders openly declared her refusal to hire White people, citing concerns about their purported propensity for microaggressions. She stated that she exclusively hires people of color as a result.
Despite this controversial stance, Lalonders has been hired by Cliffhanger Games, who are currently developing a Marvel’s Black Panther game for Electronic Arts.
Another discovery made by individuals following Sweet Baby’s excellent PR work thanks to a media collusion is the uncovering that CEO and co-founder, Kim Belair admitted during a GDC presentation that she used fear tactics to push certain changes into projects.
Now that we’ve covered the history, let’s return to the current topic: Chris Kindred’s latest attempt to cancel another individual. This time, the target of their outrage is the political breadtuber Asmongold, who was recently announced as an official partner by Capcom for their upcoming Dragon’s Dogma 2.
Considering Capcom’s recent actions regarding game modifications and the introduction of DRM to older titles, it’s hardly surprising for them to announce Asmongold, the political commentator who lives amongst roaches as he attempts to be as politically inoffensive as possible to maximize ad revenue and super chat funding from his audience of brainrotted morons to be an ambassador for the game.
In line with Capcom America’s approach, they’ve also announced Suzi Hunter, a transgender porn actor, as another official ambassador for Dragon’s Dogma 2.
Chris Kindred attempted to have Asmongold canceled, proclaiming the man to be an active participant in an “harassment campaign” against Sweet Baby Inc, particularly because the political commentator has made several videos on the topic and hasn’t proactively sided with Sweet Baby Inc’s forced diversity and inclusion amongst the video game industry.
Refusing to support a company that dilutes narratives for the sake of inclusivity, changes character races to be portrayed as people of color, and has been exposed by the gaming community for initiating a harassment campaign against a Latin American individual simply for listing the games they’ve worked on, is now labeled as harassment.
As much as I hate people like Asmongold he has served a great purpose, bringing the topic of Sweet Baby Inc and their misdeeds to the attention of his millions of followers is the best thing for consumers, the more people that become aware of the race-obsessed deviants at Sweet Baby Inc the more people will in turn boycott games associated with them, resulting in continued and greater financial losses for companies involved potentially leading to more bankruptcies.
When discussing bankruptcies, Elon Musk, one of the most influential figures globally, has voiced his opinion on Chris Kindred’s attempt to cancel Asmongold. Musk labeled Sweet Baby Inc as an “evil blight on the gaming industry,” accusing them of consistently making games worse and canceling individuals.
He expressed his desire for the company to go bankrupt as soon as possible.
Sweet Baby Inc seems to continuously exacerbate their own demise. Asmongold, known for his centrist stance, likely reported on the issue of Sweet Baby Inc’s poor produce and malicious practices without taking sides. This attempt at cancellation has only backfired once more. Musk’s amplification of the issue only confirms this.
Arguing with individuals like Chris Kindred and other activist figures at Sweet Baby Inc is futile. They merely lie, slander, defame, and project to further their agenda and racial prejudices.
Mainstream media outlets’ defense of these individuals or their declaration that “it’s impossible to be racist towards White people” only exacerbates the situation for Sweet Baby Inc, exposing a media bias that we’ve always known existed, except for the fact that these days such people no longer have any sway or credibility.
As an example, Ash Parrish, a reporter for The Verge, openly admitted to deliberately omitting essential information to advance a narrative against the Sweet Baby Inc Detected curator group.
In an article titled “The Return of Gamergate is Smaller and Sadder,” she accuses gamers of participating in a harassment campaign against Sweet Baby Inc. However, like many other articles from various outlets, there is no actual evidence of such harassment.
Instead, the focus remains on the misdeeds of Chris Kindred, who directly targeted the Latin American individual responsible, and now Asmongold, for not supporting Sweet Baby’s narrative.
Sweet Baby Inc has now gone into hiding. They’ve ceased advertising and marketing upcoming titles they’re involved in. However, this hasn’t prevented those they’ve directly harassed from noticing names credited for upcoming games.
Enter Bandai Namco, formerly a Japanese gaming powerhouse, now engrossed in the wonders of Western ESG capital funding. They recently unveiled a new game titled “Unknown 9: Awakening” just two weeks ago.
Developed by “Reflector Entertainment,” I wasn’t even aware of its announcement, probably because it simply looks like forgettable slop.
It appears to be another mundane third-person action-adventure game, placing a significant emphasis on diversity and inclusion. With its protagonist being not only a woman but also a woman of color, “Unknown 9: Awakening” seems to be Bandai Namco’s response to Square Enix’s Forspoken.
The latter, also developed in collaboration with Sweet Baby Inc, featured a BIPOC female protagonist with a mundane story, filled with cringeworthy dialogue and snooze inducing gameplay.
Following the release of Forspoken, the developers at Luminous Productions were swiftly shut down by Square Enix within mere months. Needless to say, such a fate seems almost certain for Reflector Entertainment and their title Unknown 9: Awakening.
The game appears to be incredibly forgettable, especially considering Bandai’s recent track record, which includes Blue Protocol. The inevitable failure of the game isn’t much of a shock. However, it’s now attracting much more attention than it would have achieved otherwise, thanks to the discovery of its connections to Sweet Baby Inc.
Surprisingly, Sweet Baby Inc has not made any announcements celebrating their involvement, unlike they have done previously with games such as Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.
The collaboration between race-focused pronoun advocates and mainstream media outlets extends deeper than one might imagine. Evidence of this lies in the listing of Unknown 9: Awakening on The Shorty Awards website, where Sweet Baby Inc. co-founders David Bédard and Kim Belair are credited.
According to the listing, Bédard holds the role of Brand Content Manager at Reflector Entertainment Ltd., while Belair is listed as the Story Architect at Sweet Baby Inc.
Confirmation of Bédard’s tenure at Reflector Entertainment Ltd. can be found on his LinkedIn page, where it shows he worked there from April 2018 to March 2019.
Following this revelation, the game has now been included in the catalog of the notorious Steam curation group “Sweet Baby Inc Detected.”
However, what’s even more surprising is that Steam forum moderators are actively banning users and deleting posts on the Unknown 9: Awakening community hub merely for mentioning the words “Sweet Baby Inc” or making any references to the company.
These individuals clearly despise consumers, yet they become outrageously offended when consumers choose to spend their money elsewhere and boycott games crafted with an obvious agenda by individuals who hold them in contempt.
Unknown 9: Awakening, with its bland and uninspired appearance, would likely have launched to silence. However, thanks to its association with Sweet Baby Inc, whose track record has led to the demise of entire developer studios, instead of fading into obscurity like Immortals of Aveum, the game is now receiving a thousand times more attention than it ever would have on its own, albeit for all the wrong reasons.
I doubt hardly anyone was going to purchase the game initially, but now that everyone knows that the games story narrative was penned by none other than Kim Belair herself, hundreds of thousands of gamers will simply point their finger, laugh and mock as Unknown 9: Awakening inevitably flops.
