I typically hold a reserved judgement towards mobile gacha games, simply due to the fact that 99.9% of such titles aren’t deserving to even be called a video game, there are a handful of exceptions however such as the likes of Genshin Impact and Tower of Fantasy and soon enough as we move into 2024 we’ll have more Chinese developed gacha games in the forms of Wuthering Waves and Project Mugen.
Combine the fact that almost the entirety of these gacha games aren’t actually a legitimate video game, every single one of them share a common factor. That caveat being their predatory nature exacerbated by the fact the the “gacha game” is now the only safe haven for attractive and feminine “anime” character designs, with these mobile games developing an immensely large fanbase swallowing native Japanese intellectual property whole such as Blue Archive and Azur Lane just to name a few.
These games are enticing, because of course it has to be said over and over again that sex sells, the western feminist has advocated against femininity and portrayals of beauty in video games to be “sexist” and “derogatory” and they’ve basically won that battle as almost all mainstream video games developed in the west now deploy the “realism” card as they beat every single female character senseless with the ugly bat of ESG.
Even China are censoring to cater towards western audiences.
These gacha games churn over an immense profit on a monthly basis, simply by drip feeding its users with more content to boost their pseudo “game”, but most importantly they constantly design and incorporate new characters for their audiences to fawn over, with the main alure being their enticing designs of skimpy outfits and rather large breasts it’s understandable why so many people would be captured inside the net.
Gacha is quite literally the only permitted save haven for attractive female character design and that’s a tragedy in and of its own right.
Out of all of these supposed mobile gacha “games” there is but only one that stands out from the rest of the crowd, mainly because it has two large reasons as to why you should play it.
I’m speaking of Brown Dust 2, a Korean developed mobile gacha game that seemingly has fallen underneath the radar which is surprising considering how it takes fanservice to the most extreme lengths, especially with their latest Winter themed event.
It can be downloaded via the Google Play Store and the Apple Store and of course PC.
The game itself rather than being a shoddy click and watch type of ordeal or rather a mundane gameplay loop revolving around turn based combat, Brown Dust 2 is quite reminiscent of Octopath Traveler only with a less intricate “chibi” artwork design, it does feature turn based combat but I assure you that this alternatives such as Blue Archive pale in comparison to the actual “gameplay” in your supposed gacha game.
And you just know that as a gacha game preying upon an audience of heterosexual players, you just know that it’s rife with fanservice for the allure. With developers, Neowiz, introducing a winter themed update dubbed a “half anniversary” celebration considering how the game officially launched to the public six months ago.
To kick off the celebration, the Nightmare Winter, a winter-limited event special pack, is now available offering a decent amount of captivating story narrative featuring full Korean and Japanese voice acting, is accessible to all users who have completed the tutorial.
“Fireworks Memories” is the addition to the Nightmare Winter story event although it’ll be segmented to ten “episodes” over the course of four weeks, with additional battles and quests to participate in to earn event coins to unlock rewards such as the “Stray Cat” costume for the character of Rou which will be given away for free.
However I’m certain the main gacha lure for this special event is without a doubt the Nightmare Bunny costume for Eclipse, given how it’s one of the most provocative and suggestive designs I’ve witnessed so far in a gacha game outside of TAIMANIN RPGX.
The Nightmare Bunny costume is as you’d probably guess is a “bunny girl” themed costume for Eclipse, and it serves as one of the most ideal litmus tests if you ever wished to confirm if someone might be heterosexual or homosexual as its design and promotion video is without a doubt going to increase Neowiz’s income for the month as we head into 2024, because it’s a limited time run that will not be added to the “powder of hope” or “selective draw” after January 3rd.
As an additional bonus, players can also pull for the “Masquerade Bunny” costume for Celia from December 27th to January 10th.
Alongside the equally enticing and provocative “Anti-dystopia” costume for Diana
Overall Brown Dust 2 is one of the most alluring mobile gacha games not just in terms of gameplay but seemingly giving Blue Archive and Azur Lane a run for their money in providing sex appeal, if you’re someone who wants to consume virtual busty women but seemingly want to actually get some form of gameplay out of it, it might be worth considering.
Equally considering if you’re willing to give Brown Dust 2 a try, here’s a handy and helpful meta guide regarding all of the available characters from this half anniversary celebration regarding their general ability for gameplay purposes.
