You will never be as offensive as someone trying to not offend anybody.
If anyone needed further confirmation that Persona 3 Reload was going to be sanitized for political correctness, the subtle inclusion of a pride flag pin in the TGS 2023 trailer made it evident and now, SEGA and Atlus have surpassed expectations in terms of promoting tolerance.
When mainstream media outlets like the cock crazed Kotaku consistently criticize the Persona franchise for perceived instances of something-phobia.
Citing the series’ portrayal of canonically straight characters that don’t cater to the homoerotic desires of homosexual players, it’s apparent that ESG-embracing corporations like SEGA feel compelled to go the extra mile in accommodating the delusions of supposed “fans” to avoid being labeled as offensive.
The remake of the 2006 RPG introduces new social simulation elements, along with several quality-of-life improvements and new abilities. However, it’s difficult to view Persona 3 Reload as a faithful remake when it has arbitrarily rewritten an entire segment to meet global standards and to avoid scrutiny from terminally online Twitter users who declare the scene to be transphobic.
The specific scene occurs during Operation Babe-Hunt at the beach, where the protagonist is roped into a scheme to pick up girls encouraged by the eager Junpei.
I can already see how modern retards would label the whole ordeal as being sexist because it’s absolutely offensive in today’s society to hit on women, however the actual “problem” occurs when interacting with a supposed “Beautiful/Pretty Lady”.
This “lady” seems overly ecstatic throughout the encounter, making advances towards the boys and propositioning the trio to teach them “how to treat a lady right”.
Just as the lady is about to leave with one of the three boys is “her” actual identity uncovered.
Because you see, she was in fact a man the entire time, not that you’d actually notice but I suppose it’s funny to have the hopes and dreams of romance come crashing down upon the realization that the eager woman was in fact a man the entire time.
The scene plays out as “she” was about to leave the beach with one of the three characters before Akihiko notices that there is facial hair on “her” chin, foiling their plan and saving the day.
Apparently this is transphobic according to some, but then again throughout the entire ordeal Atlus does not poke fun at transgenders by making the pretty / beautiful lady an “ironic” transgender. And by that I mean portraying “her” as being ugly / unpassable.
You genuinely would not expect the “lady” to actually be a man if not for Akihiko mentioning the facial hair. So how have Atlus rectified this HORRIBLE and OFFENSIVE caricature of transgender people everywhere inside of Persona 3 Reload you may ask?
Simple actually. Atlus have erased any and all mention of the character being transgender entirely, she is now a woman that is portrayed as being a conspiracy theorist that proclaims the sun was replaced back in the 1980’s and then attempts to shill special ¥300,000 Yen sunscreen to protect the boys from “harmful rays”.
Once again, the scene makes no mention of “her” being a man or transgender in any way, and apparently, the Japanese version depicts it similarly. This subversive conspiracy theorist nonsense isn’t limited to the West but rather the game has been censored at the source.
Considering how the official SEGA Twitter account firmly stood by their ESG stance and business practices by reposting the horrific Japanese Times article about the degradation of the Japanese hobby, I’m not all that shocked really.
So effectively, to avoid scrutiny and backlash the proud localization team behind Persona 3 Reload have ERASED a transgender character by portraying them as a conspiracy theorist nutcase.
Sounds incredibly progressive and tolerant. Though I have to ask, which certain individuals were responsible for the Persona 3 Reload localization?
Oh yeah, Katrina Leonoudakis.
The infamous parasitic wench that continually gaslights fans of Japanese media by proclaiming how deliberate improper translations aren’t a conspiracy to ruin them but rather they themselves love Japanese media as much as we do.
That’s why they invest their efforts in deliberately colonizing Japanese works and crafting their own explicit fanfiction, with the erasure of a transgender character to eliminate “transphobia” being just one of many instances.
These woke lolcow-izers likely believe they’re outsmarting true fans of the Persona series with their conspiracy theory insertion. However, what they’ve actually accomplished is the complete removal of any transgender representation in Persona 3.
In doing so, they’ve revealed themselves not only as parasitic vermin deserving of replacement by artificial intelligence but also as the biggest (and ugliest) “bigots” in the entire industry as they continually paint the consumer as vile racists.
Needless to say, don’t buy this rubbish. Though it’s entirely up to you even Persona 3 Reload is personally worth pirating even, you’re guaranteed to have a better and more authentic time playing Persona 3 via emulation be it the original PS2 release or the revised PlayStation Portable entry.
